Do I report new scars?
I’ve earned a couple new scars from various injuries since my DoDMERB exam. Do I report new scars or just wait to see if they fade before the summer? The ones been around for about 5 months and the others are a month old. I’m not sure if they’ll fade but they’re pretty noticeable, people ask about them.

Help!
Hi, DD received a letter Monday asking for three more pieces of info AMI. We’ve left messages and emails and we have gotten no response. I know they were shut down for two Days because of the blizzard but obviously we need to get this done ASAP. DD applying to Kings Point. They say she needs another Concorde dr appointment and that a physician was assigned. But when she logs into dodmets no physician listed. I am worried she is running out of time.

Potential Pilot Qualified (PPQ)
Is there anyway to check if I am potential pilot qualified on the DoDMERB site or USAFA/AFROTC sites?
There are some other threads about this, and they say that if your status is "commission qualified" you are NOT PPQ. But they are a few years old, and things may have changed.
My DODMERB status is "Qualified", but it says nothing about pilot. As far as I know (for AFROTC at least) you can't even compete for a pilot slot if your DODMERB isn't PPQ.

Getting a Physical copy of Physical
Hi,
I’ve taken a DodMERB physical for the service academies and now I am speaking to a recruiter about enlisting. My recruiter said he would like to get a physical copy of my DodMERB physical to help with MEPS (I am qualified through DodMERB but I have some medical issues that could be questionable at MEPS). Is there any way I could get a copy of my physical for him?

No DODMERB update for a month?
Trying to figure out what is going on, maybe somebody here can shed some light.
Last DODMERB update was:
08-Feb-19 Date letter sent - Reviewed Medical at Program(s) Request
The request was for remedials which were done right away. DD called to confirm that DODMERB had the results from Concorde. The technician confirmed that they had received the results on 2/22 and they were under review.

Waivers for Mood
Stressing out in MI over DS with history of mood disorder. When he was 9, mom was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and the household was upside down and anxious. We got DS to therapy and he was medicated (low dose) for anxiety and depression. Lots of talk therapy. They also gave him a low dose of ADHD drug to help him focus for a bit. I was awarded a NROTC scholarship and have completed my medical examinations but I had psoriasis when I was 13 (has never comeback) so I’m anticipating a DQ. USC, UCLA, and UCB come out this week or next week and I plan on attending one of them if I get it in. Appealing DODMERB
I recently was dq by DODMERB for high blood pressure. I attend one of the maritime academy's and was on track to become a Strategic Sealift Officer. My Lt applied for a waiver but his request was denied. After contacting a commander he found a way to appeal the denial of the waiver and to contest DODMERB. Has anyone had experience with this appeal process and is it usually successful?

Echo results
My son just had an echo completed. We sent the written report to DoDMERB, but have received notification that it is insufficient. We received a disc from the cardiologist, but are unsure how to get that disc to DoDMERB. We have asked our case manager, but are still waiting for a response. Should we be doing something else? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

DodMerb Qualified but now having Surgery
My son has been approved through DodMerb. It was noted that he had a deviated septum but with no problems. He's scheduled to have it fixed just to make it easier to breathe. He's been a competitive swimmer and it's never been an issue. Outpatient surgery is scheduled for the first week in April and the ENT expects him to resume full activities by the following week. So how is this reported? And I'm assuming that it would mean he then becomes disqualified and hopefully receives a waiver? Thanks.

Prior service DODMERB waiver for VA Disability?
Backstory, tried to go to OCS after undergrad and was DQ'd from MEPS before I had been re-evaluated from VA or before I had any documentation from the VA about my diagnosis. Decided to pursue a Masters and ROTC.

Ok I'm going to be a bit more detailed after my doctors appointment today. I got an x-ray on my ribs today because I may have pectus carinatum but the DoD states this:
i. Current chest wall malformation, including but not limited to pectus excavatum or pectus carinatum which has been symptomatic, interfered with vigorous physical exertion, has been recommended for surgery, or may interfere with wearing military equipment....
Is this going to be a problem?
