So, the USAFA application deadline is coming to a close on the 31st. DoDMERB hit me up with another remidial and I just turned it in. They said it will take about 30 days to process. That will take till the end of February!!! Will that inhibit my chances of getting in???

I recently have been offered an AROTC scholarship and am now focusing on my next obstacle which is DODMERB. Is there a detailed list of all the conditions that would disqualify you from serving? My friend was recently disqualified for having flat feet, which I didn't know you could be disqualified for.

Waiver granted notification
Just fyi...DD was under waiver review for USNA. At some point her waiver was granted without notification sent to her about a portal update. After recieving a phone call about her appointment from her MOC she logged in to find the waiver was granted. In hindsight he probably thought she was not excited when in reality she was in disbelief. Just wanted to give a heads up to others waiting on waivers. Broken Collarbone
Hi all,
I broke my collarbone exactly one month ago, it doesn't need surgery and should be healed in the coming weeks. I'm freaking out now because I'm worried I'll be DQ after just having passed my DODMERB exam. But from my research I haven't found anything on a broken bone being a DQ.
Does anyone have any wise advice?

Hello, I am a candidate for USNA with a conditional offer of appointment(LOA). I am currently working through the medical process, and I had a couple questions.
Several weeks ago, DoDMERB requested 4-5 remedial AMI's for different medical conditions and such, and upon checking my portal today, it states I only have a single disqualification for asthma after age 13, and that it is pending waiver submission and review. Hello all,
Currently going through the DODMERB process. If the waivers I am seeking are hypothetically denied, would I be able to retain my scholarship as I go to school in the fall and have it activated if I am able to successfully appeal said waiver denials? Or is the scholarship forfeited if I am not medically qualified by the fall? Thanks.

My DS applied to USMA and AROTC. He received a 4yr scholarship to AROTC and is considered to be a top candidate for USMA.
