I know that Crohn's and Ulcerative colitis are non-waiverable... but how about microscopic colitis? It's much more rare but does not require autoimmune therapy and does not carry with it the same increased risk for colon cancer. However, it DOES fall under the umbrella of inflammatory bowel disease. It can be treated, if needed, with OTC products.
