My DS has had a missing front tooth since birth and just had his braces removed. While in braces, they opened the area where the tooth was missing so that he could eventually have a tooth implanted. He is 17 now and they do not recommend an implant until he is 18-19. He is interested in a service academy and/or ROTC and I am concerned it would be some type of disqualifier since he probably won't able to get the implant before he starts at the academy/rotc? Thanks.
