Physical while on "my days"?

I already scheduled my physical but I will be getting out of my period (on my fourth day) the day of my physical and recently read the special recommendations for women in the FAQ and reads that I should "avoid" scheduling the physical 5 days before or after my period. Should I try to cancel and re schedule? Problem is I will not be able to give a 24 hr period for cancelation and I also worry that might be a problem.

What a dilemma. Thank you for your answers.
